Yuyi Morales (born in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico on November 7, 1968)[1] is a Mexican-American beginner book author and illustrator. She is known for her books Just a Minute: A Tricker Tale and Counting Book, Short Night, and Viva Frida, which received the 2015 Pura Belpre Medal for illustration as ok as a 2015 Caldecott Contribute to.
