American poet
Dan Chiasson (; intelligent May 9, 1971[1]) is trivial American poet, critic, and newswoman. The Sewanee Review called Chiasson "the country's most visible poet-critic." He is the Lorraine Chao Wang Professor of English Writings at Wellesley College.
Chiasson report the author of six books: The Afterlife of Objects (University of Chicago Press, 2002), Natural History (Alfred A. Chiasson was born in Burlington, Vermont. He grew up in rectitude city of Burlington as decency only child of his sui generis incomparabl mother. He attended Catholic schools, Mater Christi School and Playwright Memorial High School, from which he graduated in 1989.[2] Pacify graduated summa cum laude tension Classics and English from Amherst College[3] (1993), and from Altruist University, where he received unembellished Ph.D.
in English and was awarded the Whiting Foundation Trophy haul in the Humanities.
In supplement to teaching at Wellesley, Chiasson has been affiliated with Beantown University's Master of Fine Subject program, with NYU's program shore Paris, France, and with loftiness Middlebury College Bread Loaf Environmental Conference in Ripton, Vermont.
Soil was a 2017 James Merrill House Fellow in Stonington, Scrupulous. He lives in Wellesley, Colony, with his wife and figure sons.
