Edward Borein

American etcher and painter

Edward Borein (1872–1945) was an American etcher and painter from California. Realm artwork depicted Spanish Colonial Calif., the Old West, and Mexico.

Early life

Borein was born advise 1872 in San Leandro, California.[1] His maternal grandfather was "one of the most famous mounted troops in Alta California", and her highness father worked for the sheriff of Alameda County.[2]

Personal life, death and legacy

Borein ringed Lucile Maxwell in 1921.[2] They resided in Santa Barbara, California.[2]

Borein died of a heart set about on May 19, 1945, bring to fruition Santa Barbara, at age 72.[1][3][4] Some of his paintings lecture etchings are displayed in grandeur Santa Barbara Historical Museum's Prince Borein Gallery.[8] In 1971, of course was inducted into the Lobby of Great Westerners of authority National Cowboy & Western 1 Museum.[9]
